Schedule

This is a reminder of what we are doing for the next few weeks. I told all the ringers who were there tonight, but I am also posting it here so parents know.

There is no practice for the next two weeks, March 2 and 9.

Then there IS practice for two weeks, March 16 and 23. Then we have one more week off because of spring break at St. Jacobi. (No practice March 30)

On April 6 we DO have practice, and we also play for the 7:00 service. I will let you know what happens after that. Our final time to play in church will be May 22, and that will be a big day for us. Not only will we be playing in front of church, taking turns with the adults, but we will be playing for both services on Sunday. Be sure to mark your calendars for that special day.

We play on Sunday!

We will be playing two pieces on Sunday at the 8:15 service. One of them will be during the offering. The other will be just before the bell at the start of the service. Therefore:

1. It is important that everyone be in the balcony at 7:45 am to help set up the bells. This will give us a few minutes of warm up time before the organist needs to begin playing pre-service music.
2. Anyone who arrives later than 7:55 a.m. will not be allowed to play in the church service because we will already have found a replacement.
3. All ringers will be expected to stay after church for a few minutes to help put everything away.
4. Remember that everything we do should be done to the glory of God.
